Thermopet A sheets and reels have been produced at this plant since 1989. Alcan Thermoplastics range of polyester products have a reputation for quality and processability.
Thermopet A sheets and reels are produced from amorphous polyester which has a reputation for its clarity, chemical and low temperature resistance. Polyester has become a very popular alternative clear packaging product.
Alcan Thermoplastics range of first grade and recycled grades are all produced on site in Chelmsford (UK) where we have in-house recycling facilities for the processing of internal and clean customer waste materials.

APET is resistant to a wide range of acids, oils and alcohols.
It is not recommended for use with highly alkaline solutions or those containing Phenols or Ketones.

Thermopet A is biologically and chemically inert.
